Posts with a clear visual get more engagement than plain text, and a milestone card shows the one number people care about in a split second. For founders who build in public, regular milestone posts build an audience that cheers you on, keeps you accountable and often becomes your first customers.
The trick is to share the story behind the number too. Our guide on writing milestone posts that get engagement walks through the formats that work.
Frequently asked questions
Is ShowMRR free?
Yes. The card studio, templates, and every calculator are free with no account and no limits. ShowMRR is built by Laptopfoundr and supported by ads.
Where is my data stored?
Your card is saved in your own browser (localStorage). Uploaded logos never leave your device, and nothing you type is sent to our servers.
What image sizes can I export?
Three sizes: 16:9 (1200×675, ideal for X and LinkedIn), 1:1 (1080×1080, for Instagram and LinkedIn), and 4:5 (1080×1350, for the Instagram feed). Downloads are exported at 2× resolution so they stay sharp on retina screens.
Can I remove the "Made with showmrr.design" watermark?
Yes. Toggle it off in the Style section. Keeping it on is a nice way to support the project, but it is entirely optional.
How do I post the card on X with the image?
Click "Copy image", then "Post on X". The post window opens with a pre-written caption, and you paste the image into it with Cmd/Ctrl+V. On phones, the Share button sends the image straight to any app.
Can I share an editable version of my card?
Yes. "Copy link" creates a URL that opens the Card Studio with your exact card loaded, so a teammate can tweak it. Uploaded logo images are not included in links, to keep them private.
